Sam Carlson is a licensed Civil Engineer working as our Operations and Development lead within the firm.  His experience highlights a passion for hands-on work environment where he can contribute to a variety of projects both large and small. Sam uses his engineering knowledge to understand project goals and has the operational enthusiasm to move the team forward.  

What do you find inspiring about architecture?

Architecture is something we usually take for granted.  I am inspired by it’s subtle complexity and the constant problem solving necessary to make a project look and navigate perfectly.

What are your hobbies and interests?

I enjoy spending time with my family, trying to stay fit, cooking and continuously working on my house.

What’s one obscure tidbit about yourself?

I played Tight End for the Cal Poly Mustangs!
